oo5. 8th of April 3000.

I've half of a novel done, and I'm itching to fix what I don't like in it so far, but I once heard it was better to write it all, and then go back and edit, and not edit as you write. Something about finishing it first helps. I don't know if it does, the last time I wrote books I edited as I wrote, and they came out fine. Took me longer, I think, than if I just slam write it, and then edit it.

I've yet to find a chocolate sweet brand that's really spoken to me. A few brands are good, but they just don't have that zing my old brand did. Any suggestions?

oo4. 25th of March 3000.

I wonder, were I to die again, would I be able to return to life again? Or is it a one-time thing? I suppose we may never know, and I don't particularly want to find out by experimentation, but it is an interesting thing to ponder.

I went to a bookshop today to see what's popular, and it looks like the quality is lower in today's society, but that was just one shop, other shops could be much higher in quality. I think I'll look at another one tomorrow, I think, and compare the two.

oo3. 17th of March 3000. Saint Patrick's Day.

You know, Saint Patrick's colour was actually blue, not green? People started thinking it was green because they associated the day with Ireland, and Ireland began being known for green rather than blue began around 1750, I've heard. Strange. My mother always put blue shamrocks rather than green on her Saint Patrick's Day biscuits.

I wonder how many people still celebrate Saint Patrick's Day anymore? I saw a cat coloured green, but I wasn't sure if it was for Saint Patrick's or just because it's owner wanted a green cat. I suppose I'll never know.

oo2. 11th of March 3000

You know when you set something down somewhere, and the next time you look for it it isn't there? It's terribly confusing when that happens. You're so sure that you set it down in that one spot, but yet it isn't there. And then when it does turn up, it's in such a ridiculously weird place you wonder if it grew legs and walked over there by itself. Of course if it's magical, I suppose it could have walked to it's weird spot itself, or if it was a cat, but otherwise it's rather strange, isn't it?

I think I might try my hand at writing again. It went well in the eighties when I tried it, though I don't think I'll be writing romance novels again.

oo1. 18th of February 3000

Well, this is rather interesting. Seeing the differences from the time we died to now. The world certainly seems different. More structured, somehow. I'm not sure what to think of it, really. I wonder what new sorts of spells, and potions were invented. I mean, a thousand years, a lot can be invented in a thousand years. After all, look at the differences between the year 1000 to 2000. Not that I ever saw 2000, but I was close enough to it.

Do people still listen to Big Band music now? It was out of style even in 1998, but is it now so old that it can't be found easily?

Oh, right. I'm Remus Lupin, I died in 1998. Nice to meet you, if I've never met you, and hello, again, if I have.
